# Searching for Students

One of the biggest advantages of a digital yearbook is the ability to find exactly what you are looking for in seconds.
## Using the Global Search
At the top of the interface, you will find a search bar (often indicated by a magnifying glass icon).
1. Click or tap on the search bar.
2. Type the name of a student or staff member.
3. The system will automatically search across all available yearbooks and display matching results.
## Viewing Results
When the search returns results, it will group them by the specific Yearbook they appear in.
- Click on any of the page numbers listed under a person's name.
- This will instantly load that specific yearbook page so you can view it.
- **Note:** The search looks specifically for names indexed within the yearbook pages.
