# Data Privacy and Protection

We take student data privacy incredibly seriously. The Interactive Yearbook is designed from the ground up to comply with major educational privacy standards.

## Who Can See the Yearbook?
The Interactive Yearbook is a **closed platform**. It is not accessible to the general public or searchable via search engines like Google.
- Only authorized users (students, parents, staff) explicitly invited by the school administrator can log in.
- Accounts are typically tied to verified school email addresses or managed via the school's Single Sign-On (SSO) directory.

## What Data is Collected?
We only collect the data necessary to provide the yearbook service:
- **Profile Data:** Name, email address, graduation year, and role.
- **Content:** Photos, videos, and documents uploaded to the platform.
- **Analytics:** Basic, anonymized usage data to help us improve performance.

## Data Sharing
We do **not** sell student data to third parties, nor do we run advertisements on the platform. Data is only shared with our trusted, secure infrastructure partners (like cloud hosting providers) strictly for the purpose of operating the application.

## Profile Visibility
Depending on your school's specific configuration, you may be able to manage your profile visibility in your account settings. If you have concerns about a specific photo or video, please contact your school administrator to request its removal.
